Who we are

Now in our 36th year, Fablevision has been working in communities (geographical and communities of interest) to bring transformation of the narrative we tell each other through creative community cultural development. With artists and creative, engaged, participatory practices at the core, the work has spanned more than three decades – pioneering, paving the way and spreading learning through partnership working.

Our Ethos

A cultural social enterprise with charitable status, Fablevision is a group of social enterprise companies whose members (individually and collectively) share values and working practices.

The Fablevision Group can supply everything you need by way of community cultural development: from cultural planning consultancy to project development and delivery; from supporting emerging cultural social entrepreneurs/enterprises to training and learning in applying the methodology in your own community.

Working in collaboration with community groups and local organisations to inspire vibrant flourishing communities throughout Scotland. We specialise in supporting the development of local resources: creating projects and events that make a difference.
